The goal was to design a collection of vibrant, collectible packaging for Where's Gary? promotion inspired by The SpongeBob Movie. the objective was to attract SpongeBob fans of all ages while encouraging multi-box purchases for a collectible experience.

Design Theme

Character-Centric Design: The front of the package prominently features SpongeBob and Patrick, in an adventurous scene, with colorful, high-energy graphics and playful fonts.

Key Elements: Key elements of the design include the movie’s logo, bold colors like purple and yellow, and a sense of motion as the characters appear to reach out towards the cookies. Floating cookie illustrations add an additional sense of fun and directly showcase the product.

Interaction: A QR code on the side of the box allows "grown-ups" to unlock an exclusive SpongeBob photo filter, making the packaging more engaging for families and encouraging digital interaction. Additionally, there’s a sweepstakes callout on the front, encouraging customers to “Find Gary Inside” for a chance to win a stay in a themed Pineapple Suite, adding an element of surprise and making the box a more exciting purchase.

Demographic

Primary Target: Children aged 6-12, who are Spongebob’s current target audience. The excitement over the movie release adds to the appeal.

Secondary Target: Teens and young adults, aged 13-25, who grew up with Spongebob and may enjoy this product for its nostalgic and collectible value.
